I recently did a Shaklee giveaway on a great website called "Valuing Today".

Hear what "Valuing Today" had to say about Shaklee's Basic H2!

Giveaway: Concentrated All-Purpose Cleaner

My family and I had the privilege of using an all-purpose cleaner from Shaklee recently.

Here is some info from the Shaklee Website about this cleaner:

Basic H2® is all you need for thousands of household jobs
  • Ultra Concentrated – 16 ounces makes up to 48 gallons of super powerful cleaner when mixed with water.
  • Versatile and powerful cleaner – removes dirt, grease, and grime from any washable surface, inside and out. Dilute according to directions.
  • No rinse, no residue, streak-free formula.
Use on any washable surface – indoors or out
  • Walls, Windows and Mirrors, Counter tops, Floors, Appliances, Stoves, Sealed Woodwork, Pots and Pans, Furniture
Clean Credentials
  • Nontoxic
  • Natural
  • Doubly concentrated
  • Biodegradable Surfactants
One of the things that I really love about Basic H2 is how ridiculously affordable it is. In our house we have been using concentrated cleaner for years and we only spend $20 a year on glass cleaner and all-purpose cleaner.

Let me break down the savings you can get from Basic H2:
To get the same amount of cleaner you get with the 16 oz bottle of Basic H2 you would have to buy $480 worth of conventional ready-to-use all-purpose cleaner, $13,500 for the equivalent amount of window cleaner and $128 worth of degreaser. (All of these numbers are based on conventional, ready-to-use cleaners).
Talk about a great bang for your buck!!!

This is our take on how the product worked for us:
Pro’s:
•The cost, the cost, the cost! A 16 oz. bottle of Basic H2 is $12.15. Let me tell you that you may go through 2 of these a year….maybe.
•I personally love that it is environmentally friendly and non-toxic. Here is a scary statistic that I came across recently. Women who work from home have a 54% higher cancer rate than those outside of the home due in part to laundry products and household cleaners that contain toxic chemicals.
•It works great! They advertise this product saying that it does not streak or leave residue and we never experienced any of that when we used it. We used it on various surfaces like mirrors, counter tops, stove, etc. and it worked really well on all of the surfaces we tried. Itt’s rare for me to be highly impressed by cleanning products, but this one truly did impress me.

Con’s:
•The only “con” my husband had when using it was that he missed that cleaner smell (the product is odorless). I immediately told him that the clenaer smell is normally not good for you anyway.

Well guess what? Rachel from Shaklee has generously offered to giveaway a 16 oz. Basic H2 All-Purpose Cleaner  for one Valuing Today reader! Plus she is throwing in a set of 3 Basic H2 bottles so you can divvy up the cleaner into windows/mirrors, degreaser and all-purpose cleaner.
